Adventures and ServicesWhen you book one of our accommodations you can also reserve/book any of our adventures or services; if we are unable to provide your adventure or service after you arrive (it is too stormy to go sailing...) we will promptly refund you.Adventures and Services include: Surfing One of the most popular and memorable Hawaiian experiences that the entire family can enjoy. Hanalei Bay provides a safe and picturesque surfing playground for all levels. Your instructor starts with a beach introduction on safety, respect and how to have fun riding a surfboard. Your new skills will be enjoyed in the ocean with your instructor by your side. Stand-Up Paddling
Head out on a private charter in search of Mahi Mahi, Ahi, Marlin, and other Hawaiian fish in hope of a big catch. Feel free to let the Captain clean and filet the fish, and then take home your prize. Our chefs are available to prepare your catch island style, leaving you free to kick back and relax. Private Boating/Whale Watching If you would rather leave the fishing to others, head out simply for a chance to see the coastline from a different perspective while searching for pods of spinner dolphins and whales. Traditional Hawaiian Sailing Canoe For a relaxed boating experience, sail into the sunset on a 26 foot traditional Polynesian canoe. Your Captain will cruise you through gentle waters as you take photographs of Kauai’s amazing mountain views and sunsets. We recommend adding a snorkel excursion while out on the water for a chance to see Hawaii’s sea turtles up close, or you can simply relax with one of our custom picnics. Catamaran Sailing If you are interested in a more adventurous sailing experience, then harness in and fly a hull in a nineteen-foot Prindle catamaran. With midday strong winds, you can prepare yourself for speed and excitement. Wakeboard/Waterski When you’re in the mood for a fast paced adventure, jump aboard our ski boat for a chance to wakeboard or water ski up and down the largest navigable river in the Hawaiian Islands. The whole family can participate in this activity as we also offer tube rides for the younger children. Snorkeling Explore Kauai’s underwater world with an expert guide by your side. Enter the water directly from one of our fantastic tropical beaches or journey further out on one of our private boats. Adventures can be created for beginners up to advanced swimmers and include viewing tropical fish, coral reefs, and Hawaii’s sea turtle, the Honu. Scuba Diving Join us on an underwater adventure with our certified PADI Instructors. We offer introductory lessons for beginners starting at 8 years of age and can provide PADI certification for Open Water through Divemaster. If you are already certified but haven’t been in awhile, we offer free scuba reviews before diving with you. Experience the best guides, coral reefs, turtles, sharks, night, cavern, and wall dives. Hiking While on the Garden Isle, head outdoors with a private guide to lead you on one of Kauai’s amazing hikes. Walking at your desired pace, learn about the local flora and fauna and pick up a bit of Hawaiian history. No need to visit the gym here; the most enjoyable form of exercise is found outside.
